Dan's extensive background includes senior level executive and management experience in sales and marketing of computer hardware, software and services. Highly entrepreneurial owner of a Marketing Rep firm and Retail Store, cofounder of a PC Distributor and an extremely successful nonprofit corporation. Bottom line oriented team player with extensive experience in all aspects of product marketing and sales, including recruiting and hiring of sales and marketing personnel, manufacturers representatives, and distributors. Highly successful selling into the Fortune 500, Small Business, Government, OEM, Distributor and Dealer markets.


Managed multiple efforts to introduce new technologies and identify emerging markets including optical character recognition, desktop computing and internet applications.

Recruited and coached dozens of individuals and created sales and marketing teams to introduce these technologies in North America.

Established alternative marketing channels and taught the concepts of solution selling to Mfg. Reps, Distributors and Dealers.

Developed and managed sales and marketing promotions, literature, brochures, advertising, PR and national trade shows.

Achieved a 14 fold increase in sales to over $15M for Microtek Scanners in the US and Canada while capturing the leading market share in the industry.

Chairman, webmaster and outreach coordinator for PEP Pioneers, a non-profit organization of graduates of the Providence, Little Company of Mary Hospital Pulmonary Education Program, the oldest and largest pulmonary rehab in California. (2010 to present)
Active with several nonprofit foundations to counsel women and children suffering from various autoimmune illnesses. Initiated several campaigns to further their causes, and act as spokesman when called upon. (1997-2000)

Cofounder and past Vice President of ATLC, a nonprofit OrangeCounty based independent living skills foundation for developmentally disabled, and severely brain injured adults. Dan recruited board members and coordinated all fund raisers.  During his 5 year tenure, Dan helped ATLC grow from 2 clients in 1988 to the largest independent living skills foundation in the US in 1992 with 100 clients. (1987-1992)

Member, American Foundation for the Blind special committee on technology for the handicapped. Participated in a two year study on providing high tech solutions for clients with a variety of physical limitations. (1991-1992)
