Highly entrepreneurial owner of a Marketing Rep firm and Retail Store, cofounder of a PC Distributor and an extremely successful nonprofit corporation. Director, webmaster and outreach coordinator for PEP Pioneers, a non-profit organization of graduates of the Providence, Little Company of Mary Hospital Pulmonary Education Program, the oldest and largest pulmonary rehab in California. (2010 to present)
Active with several nonprofit foundations to counsel women and children suffering from various autoimmune illnesses. Initiated several campaigns to further their causes, and act as spokesman when called upon. (1997-2000)
Cofounder and past Vice President of ATLC, a nonprofit OrangeCounty based independent living skills foundation for developmentally disabled, and severely brain injured adults. Dan recruited board members and coordinated all fund raisers. During his 5 year tenure, Dan helped ATLC grow from 2 clients in 1988 to the largest independent living skills foundation in the US in 1992 with 100 clients.
Member, American Foundation for the Blind special committee on technology for the handicapped. Participated in a two year study on providing high tech solutions for clients with a variety of physical limitations. (1991-1992)
